Proof of concept for a documentary 'Sata Ääntä Sateesta' - Hundred Sounds of Rain.
The story follows Lauri Hallikainen, who was only 19 years old when he lost his sight in a military accident. Since then he has found solace and purpose in the sounds of nature and has recorded them for over two decades. In his archives one can review not only the diversity and vast possibilities of nature, but also its rapid decaying during the past 20 years.
Lauri sees the nature through sounds, and with him we can see it too, in a whole new way.
